What Happens If Roofers Uncover Unforeseen Damage?

Our experienced roofing contractors should be able to identify any issues with your roof as part of your initial roof survey. If we have concerns regarding possible water damage or structural problems, we will always make you aware of them and factor them in when working out your quote.

Unforeseen Issues

In the unlikely event that we discover further issues once work has commenced, we will always stop discuss what action you may wish to take before proceeding any further. We will be honest about how much any additional work will cost. If you agree to the additional work, and you don’t have to, we will adjust our quote so there will be no surprises on your final bill.

Fully Insured Contractors

We are reputable roofing contractors. There is a legal requirement that roofing contractors hold two forms of insurance: Employers’ Liability Insurance and Public Liability Insurance. We have both. Not just because it is the law, but because they provide protection for our staff, customers and the general public. At RG Leverett, we are covered for damages of up to £10 million for each of these types of insurance. Employing a contractor who does not hold such cover leaves the customer at risk of being liable for any expenses which may arise should an accident occur.

Our Accreditations

The best way to be certain that a contractor is qualified to make an accurate survey of your roof is to check their accreditations. We are accredited by a number of independent bodies. These include the National Federation of Roofing Contractors who regularly check that our practices continue to meet their high standards. We are also listed in the Norfolk Trusted Trader directory.
