What happens if my property is damaged during the work?

17/04/2013
All reputable flat roofing contractors will have two forms of insurance; employers liability insurance and public liability insurance. This insurance is a legal requirement and you should be certain your contractor has adequate cover before allowing them to start work. Unfortunately there are some unscrupulous contractors who will carry out work on a property without the necessary insurance. In this case, you would be liable for all expenses resulting from accidental damage to your property. It is extremely unlikely that a reputable contractor will cause damage to your property, but a good contractor will ensure they are adequately protected for both themselves as well as you, the customer. RG Leverett Ltd are covered by 10 million poud public liability and 10 million pound employers liability insurance, so you can rest assured that in the unlikely event that something should go wrong, we are protected.
