How Long Does a Flat Roof Installation Take?
That's a great question! Honestly, it really depends on a few things - like how big your roof is, what kind of material we're using, and how tricky the job might be.
For most flat roofs, it usually takes about 2 to 5 days from start to finish. Here's a rough idea of how it goes:
- First, we take off the old roof (if there is one) and get everything ready underneath. That's super important to make sure the new roof will last.
- Then we spend a couple of days putting on the new roofing material - whether that's lead, EPDM rubber, fibreglass, or felt. If you need insulation, we'll fit that too.
- After that, we add the finishing touches like flashing and gutters, and double-check everything to make sure it's spot on.
- Sometimes, if the roof's a bit bigger or more complicated, we might need an extra day to wrap things up properly.
The only wildcard is weather. If it's pouring down or really windy, we might have to pause for safety and quality reasons. But don't worry - we'll keep you updated and won't rush things. We want it done right!
