Case Study: New Roof for NatWest’s Cromer Branch

12/07/2018
The new flat roof we installed on the NatWest bank.

Throughout our time in the industry, we have completed work on a variety of different properties all over the county. We have worked in Cromer many times and a recent job for Gill Building on the NatWest bank saw us return to the beautiful coastal town. The pictures and the captions below follow us through the job and explain our work.

The new roof structure Gill constructed.

The NatWest building in Cromer was desperately in need of a new roof covering. The old roof’s structure had failed and was at risk of leaking or collapsing. Gill Building were contracted to repair and replace the roof structure and they contracted us to install a new roofing membrane.

Gill Building removed the roof’s failed structure and added a new one. We kept the area watertight while they completed this work before we installed a high performance Danosa Polydan roofing system.

The system we used in this job is DANOSA’s specification built up felt system with 130mm insulation board to comply with building regulations. We know the quality that this system provides and we have used it in lots of our recent jobs. Coming with a 20-year insurance backed warranty, it is a good choice for protecting the roof for years to come.

This was a good job to be involved in and it was nice to be back working in Cromer. We would like to say a big thank you to Gill Building for getting us involved in the job. They frequently employ our expertise on their projects and we enjoy working with them. We look forward to completing more projects with them in the future.
