Roof Repairs for City Centre Coffee Shop

Our team have been working hard in Norwich City Centre, fixing the leaking roof of the popular Costa Coffee on London Street. The site faces onto a busy pedestrianised street at the start of the historic Norwich Lanes, with the rear of the premises adjoining listed buildings. The location of the shop provided a challenge, but our experienced team provided a number of solutions so that we could complete the works without disruption to the business, neighbours and public. 

We were contracted by a property management company to carry out repairs to the roof, including a leaking front gully. To comply with health and safety regulations and cause minimal disruption to the shop and the public, we carried out the works out of hours – working very early mornings and weekends. 

To prevent future leaks, we applied a high performance Polyroof Protec liquid overlay system to the roof. This meant we didn’t need to remove the existing roof covering, resulting in a much faster and far less disruptive process with less chance of internal damage. Once the repairs and new system were implemented, we reinstated the bird netting to prevent birds landing on the roof and causing damage.
