Bituminous Roof Refurbishment – Taverham High School, Norwich

One of the big projects we tackled over the summer was the refurbishment of the gym roof at Taverham High School. The holidays are always the best time to take on this kind of work, with the site clear of pupils and staff.

It felt like it rained for most of August, so there was definitely some battling the elements involved - but the team powered through and finished the job in plenty of time for the new school year.

We fitted a DANOSA Polydan bituminous roofing system, which is a tough, long-lasting option that’s ideal for school buildings. It is incredibly resilient to all kinds of weather and general wear and tear. It makes it a reliable choice for a busy site such as this.
