Danosa Felt Roof Installation - Norfolk Showground, Norwich

The Norfolk Showground is one of the county’s most popular event venues, hosting everything from concerts and exhibitions to the Royal Norfolk Show - the largest two-day agricultural show in the country.

When work was commissioned to extend the indoor exhibition space, RG Leverett were asked to complete work to install new roofs on the extensions.

For this project we fitted the Danosa felt roof system. It is known for offering a strong, weather resistant, and modern finish. If you require long-lasting protection for a commercial or public building, and don’t want to compromise on appearance, then this is the system to choose.

We installed 150mm PIR warm roof insulation as part of the installation and this will help to reduce heat loss and prevent condensation in the future. This not only boosts energy efficiency but also extends the life of the roof structure.

We then applied the Danosa built-up felt finish, layering bituminous membranes and sealing them with hot bitumen before adding a mineral cap sheet for UV protection. The result is a durable, watertight surface built to stand up to the elements.
