Clay Pantile Roof Installation - North Walsham

We were recently called in to install a new roof for a public toilet block in the centre of North Walsham - a project led by local contractors - TM Browne.

As the roof structure was a completely new installation, our team began work by fitting treated timber battens and counter battens, along with a modern Kingspan Nilvent breather membrane to keep everything well ventilated and watertight. In the roof valley, we fitted high-quality Code 5 lead. This is a heavy-duty option, ideal for this kind of pitched roof installation.

To finish it off, we used red Marley Eden clay pantiles - a great-looking and reliable option made from natural clay. These tiles not only give the roof a classic appearance, but they also offer excellent durability and weather resistance. We also installed 9 new Velux windows to bring in plenty of natural light.

It might not be the most glamorous project, but the end result is a smart, practical building that looks great and will stand the test of time - exactly what’s needed in a busy town centre.
